What can you expect from this beginner’s PADI diving program?
An incredible full-day program:
Your day will start with a pickup from your accommodation at approximately 8:00 am, depending on the area you're staying.
We will take you to the pier where you will meet your friendly instructor for the day.
The speedboat will leave the pier at 8:45 am and take approximately 90 minutes to reach one of the shallow bays of Koh Tao. Mango Bay is a beautiful protected bay on the north side of Koh Tao which is perfect for beginning divers and experienced divers looking for a nice relaxing dive. There are beautiful rock formations and stunning hard corals in which can be seen large schools of fusiliers, barracuda, groupers, triggerfish, angelfish and butterfly fish. Also in you look close in the sand you can see seahorses and gobies.
Once at Koh Tao your instructor will go over the basics of the scuba equipment you will be using, and he or she will go over some basic skills to make sure you are comfortable and then it is off to explore the beautiful underwater sites of Koh Tao.
After the first dive you will enjoy lunch on either the boat or the beach and take about an hour rest and then it will be off to another dive site around Koh Tao for your second dive. By this time, you will already see how easy it is to scuba dive and will enjoy just having fun on your second dive.
Upon completion of the second dive the boat will return to Koh Samui around 15:00/16:00 pm and you will get a debriefing of your dive from your instructor and be able to check out some of the photos from the day. Transfers from and back to your accommodation are included.

About Sailrock
Sail Rock is a granite pinnacle in between Koh Phangan and Koh Tao that rises 15M out of the water. It is a world class dive site and great for all levels of divers as there is much to see from the surface all the way to the bottom. Sail rock is home to the famous “chimney” which is a vertical swim-through where you can enter at 18M and exit at 12M or 7M into the sunlight and beautiful pink anemones. Sail Rock is basically a wall dive covered with tons of soft coral and anemones. There are huge schools of marine life here including trevally, barracuda, great barracuda, king mackerels, tuna, fusileers, giant groupers, giant moray eels, batfish, angelfish, butterfly fish, scorpion fish, and always a chance for the visiting whale shark. For the advanced diver there are a series of submerged pinnacles off the main rock that are exciting to explore.
3) Chumporn Pinnacle & Koh Tao

About Chumporn Pinnacle
Widely considered one of Thailand's premier dive site, Chumphon Pinnacle is also one of the islands most challenging, with occasionally strong currents. Ranging from depths of 14m to 36m, the site is a group of massive rocks arranged in a rough oval and running north to south. Visibility is superb in season, and the site plays host to a wide variety of pelagic as well as reef fish. Great barracuda, king mackerel, grouper, and tuna throng to Chumphon year round. Also see huge schools of batfish, trevally, fusileers. This site is also great for seeing some of the smaller stuff such as banded shrimp, boxfish, and white eyed moray eels. As you go shallower there are huge fields of anemones which will blow your mind. Whale shark sightings are common here as well as keep you eyes open in the shallow water for the occasional groups of beluga whales. As the site is a fair distance offshore, visitors from the open ocean are unpredictable and sailfish, oceanic white tip sharks and bull sharks have been spotted.

Dive Courses
1) Scuba Diver
Course details

This is a 2-day PADI diving course giving you a certification to dive 12 Meters
This is a 2-day course where you learn basic dive theory and then you get to experience 2 training dives in the open water. After completing this course, you will have a certification to dive to 12 meters under the supervision of a divemaster or instructor.
What can you expect from this beginner’s PADI scuba diving course in Thailand?
Your first day will start between 8:00-9:00 am when we will pick you up at your accommodation and take you to the dive facility. Here you will meet your friendly instructor, set up your equipment and review your theory. All dive theory is now completed online and can be finished before arrival to Koh Samui, leaving your vacation time purely for the pool and open water dive sessions.
Next it is time to have fun and get wet, we will go to our pool for your confined water sessions where you will learn how to use scuba equipment and practice skills to make you competent and safe in the open water.
Your first open water day will start with us picking you up from your hotel approximately 7:00 am. We will then take you to the boat pier where you will meet up with your instructor and set up your equipment on the boat. The boat ride to Koh Tao will take approximately 90 minutes and upon arrival to Koh Tao in one of our speedboats you will do your first dive in one of the shallow bays of the island. In-between dives you will enjoy some lunch and rest up for your second dive. After your second dive the boat will return to Koh Samui and usually returns between 3:00-3.30 pm.
2) Open Water Course

This is a 3-day PADI diving course giving you a certification to dive 18 Meters
This is a 3-day diving course which will allow you to dive down to a maximum of 18 Meters anywhere in the world. The course consists of 3 sections – online dive theory, confined swimming pool sessions and 4 Open Water dives.
What can you expect from this PADI Open Water course in Thailand?
The PADI E-Learning is a new product from PADI that makes the dive theory very easy to complete and can be downloaded on any Apple or Android device before you even arrive on Koh Samui, which leaves more free time for you on your vacation.
After you book, we will send you a code with instructions and you can start working on your theory from your home in advance or even on the long, boring plane ride to Koh Samui. This would eliminate most of the classroom portion of your course and allow you to complete the course in less than 3 full days.
On your first day of the course we will pick you up between 8:15-9:00 am in the morning (depending on your hotel location) and bring you to our dive facility where you will meet one of our friendly dive instructors. Your instructor will do a review with you of your theory and then you will get acquainted with the equipment before starting the confined pool session.
At this point you will do your confined water training at one of our pools, with small groups you can complete all of your confined water training in one day.
In your confined water dives you will learn all you need to know in how to use scuba equipment and be able to handle yourself under water as well as being prepared for any situation in the open water. We prefer to take a little more time with you in the pool so that you are 100% comfortable when you go diving in the open water. Not only will you learn a lot, you will a have a lot of fun swimming around under water.
Open Water Dives
The open water portion consists of 4 dives over two days, where you'll perform various dive skills both underwater and at the surface to ensure you're a competent and safe diver. Skills are spread over 4 dives, allowing you to spend most of your time exploring the underwater world with your instructor.
Your first day starts with a 7:00 am hotel pickup, followed by a 90-minute boat ride to Koh Tao. You'll set up your equipment, perform your first dive in a shallow bay, enjoy lunch, and then do your second dive. The boat returns to Koh Samui around 3:00-3:30 pm.
Open Water Scuba Training and PADI Certification
Your second day begins with another 7:00 am pickup. Depending on the dive site, the boat ride takes 45-90 minutes. You'll complete your 3rd and 4th "graduation dives" with lunch in between, returning to Koh Samui between 1:15 and 3:30 pm.
Now it’s time to party!! Congratulations, you're a PADI open water diver, permitted to dive up to 18 meters and rent diving equipment worldwide.
3) Advanced Open Water Course

Course Level: Advanced
This is a 2-day PADI diving course giving you a certification to dive 30 Meters deep
The PADI Advanced Open Water course can be completed in 2 days and consists of 5 adventure dives. Two of these dives will be the Deep dive and a Navigation dive and then you get to choose 3 more dives from the adventure dives available at the time of year. A very fun course and it will greatly improve your scuba diving skills.
What can you expect from this beginner’s PADI scuba diving course in Thailand?
First you will choose your 3 elective adventure dives after consultation with one of our instructors. For each of the 5 adventure dives that you complete for the course you will have to read the chapter in the PADI Adventures in Diving E-Learning manual and fill out the corresponding knowledge reviews online. All of the theory for the Advanced course can be completed before you even arrive on the island.
All 5 dives are conducted at various dive sites with 3 dives on one day and two dives on the remaining day.
